When attempting to perform a financial exchange, you see the following error:

Error: You cannot make multiple successive calls to the open connection.

Why this is happening

Point of Sale and QuickBooks™ need to be updated.

How to fix it

  1. 1) Be sure Point of Sale and QuickBooks™ have the latest updates installed:
    1. QuickBooks: Choose Help > Update QuickBooks™ and click Update Now
    2. Point of Sale: Choose Help > Software Updates > Check for Updates
  2. 2)You can also download the update manually from our QuickBooks™ updates page.
  3. 3)When the update’s finished, reboot your computer.
  4. 4)Open Point of Sale and try the financial exchange again.
